Santa Pictures in Las Vegas

Santa Claus is coming to town!  Don’t wait to make your reservations for your pictures with Santa.

One of the most memorable events of the Christmas season are those wonderful Santa pictures.  These photos can tell an entire story, from crying babies to terrified toddlers, and those older kids who look like they want to be somewhere else.

There are plenty of opportunities to get photos taken with Santa around the valley and he has already arrived at some places around town.  Check the links for schedules, dates, times and pricing (if applicable).  This list will be added to throughout the holiday season, so bookmark and check back regularly to see the many updates coming over the next few weeks.

This post is currently being updated for 2022.  Events with an * are from 2021, please check back often.  

Santa Pics at Galleria Mall–  Daily November 17th through December 24th.  Take photos with Santa and create magical moments for you and your family.  Reservations are encouraged.  Pet Nights will be Nov. 21, Nov. 28 & Dec. 5 from 4pm-7pm.

Photos with Santa Fashion Show Mall– Embark on an enchanted adventure to take pictures with Santa. Join him to create magical memories you and your family will always remember!  Nov. 17- Dec. 23, see the schedule at the link.  Tuesdays are Pajama Day, Thursdays are Ugly Sweater Day.  Pet photos are Mondays, Nov. 21 & 28, and Dec. 5 from 4pm-7pm.

Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden–  The family friendly Holiday Garden is open nightly from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, from November 5th until January 1st.  You can take pictures with Santa, enjoy our famous hot chocolate, or grab a quick bite from the Food Truck.  This year, a $1 entrance fee per person is required and will be donated to Help of Southern Nevada and Three Square Food Bank.   They will also be collecting toys and non-perishable food items for the charities. These are not required, but appreciated.

Nevada Southern Railway–  Come experience the magic of riding the train at night on the Boulder City Santa Express!  Take a ride on the new BC Santa Express 2022 where guests will experience the magic of the holidays onboard and in our Santa’s Railyard event center, pajamas optional.  Each event is a 90-minute experience with a train ride in a vintage, restored railcar with storytime on the train, including time at our event center to visit Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie, by Chilly Jilly’z.

There will be three ride times each evening that the trains roll: 4 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm and run on these dates: Nov. 25 & 26, Dec. 2&3, 9&10, 16&17,  20&21, 2022.   Tickets start at $30,  First Class (VIP) are $50 and can be purchased here.  Seats required for all passengers over 1 year old.  Buy your tickets today, this event will sell out!

Santa Pictures in Town Square–  Photos with Santa begin November 19th and run through December 24th.  Online registration is required, there is a $20 registration fee, which will be credited toward your photos.  Check here to make your reservation and for more information.  Paws N Claws photos with Santa will be held on Wednesdays only,  November 23- December 21, see the link for times.

Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops–  Santa’s Wonderland is returning to Bass Pro Shops and Santa arrives November 5th! Photos with Santa are free, and the set and Santa are authentic and festive!  Santa will be available for free photos through December 24 ; hours will vary based on day.  You must make a reservation and they book up quickly.   During your visit, families can mail their letter to Santa and bring home free holiday craft activity kits while supplies last.  We go every year and love it!

Santa at the District at GVR– The District at Green Valley Ranch presents Santa’s house – located on The Courtyard beginning on November 25th through December 24.  For photo products and pricing click here.  Please see the schedule of times at the link, appointments are not necessary.

Santa at Container Park–  Santa will be at the Container Park  November 25th, 26th & 27th,  December 3rd & 4th,  10 & 11,  17 & 18, and 24th, from Noon- 4pm.

Pet photos with Santa at PetSmart– Bring your leashed pets to PetSmart for photos with Santa!Santa photos available in all PetSmart stores on December 10-11 & 17-18. Availability by location is subject to change without notice. Not available in PetSmart Groomery locations. Pets are welcome in accordance with the pet policy found here.  Bookings and times will be opened up after Thanksgiving. Photos can be taken on personal device or on store device which will then be delivered via email. Download the PetSmart app to use fun photo filters during the event.

*Pet Photos with Santa Claus at PetCo– No update yet for 2022.  Come in December 7, 14 & 15 to get a picture of your pet with Santa Claus while helping to save shelter pets for a donation of $9.95! 100% of the proceeds benefit lifesaving animal welfare organizations in your local community through the Petco Foundation. This is the perfect opportunity to include your dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in your holiday card! *Please check with your local store for times. Only select stores will be holding an event on the 15th.

*Springs Preserve Holiday Express– No update yet for 2022. The Springs Preserve Holiday Express has not been announced for 2022.  Times for the train ride will be Fridays 2pm-6pm, and 11am-6pm all other event dates.  Admission for the Holiday Express is $10 for Springs Preserve members and $12 for non-members.  Kids 2 and under are free. Santa will be there for pictures, but no photos will be provided so bring your own camera!
