Residential Light Displays
Silver Cliff Light Show– I’m proud to say I know these lovely people and they do an amazing job with music and lights! In fact, they won the 2020 Spooktacular Home Decorating Contest for Best Use of Technology! It’s a free light show sequenced to music to brighten the community for all ages. The show runs 5pm-9:00pm daily until the new year. Come out with family and friends to see it live, have a nice time and forget about all the troubles in the world while watching the light show. They also have great photo ops with various Disney characters such as Elsa throughout the season.
Twisted Vegas– at 1941 Houston Dr., decorates all year round for all of the holidays. This Christmas holiday season, spectators will be sure to enjoy a lovely display of lights and some fantastic inflatables all paired with holiday tunes. Their 2022 lights are coming soon and should be up and running Thanksgiving Day. They’ve been decorating since 1995. Open Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day, from 5pm-9pm. For years, Mark and Lynda Newman have been using their home to create astonishing animated Christmas light displays, referred to as Light-O-Rama. They use more than 12,000 lights and have a virtual Santa in an upstairs window. Tune in to the Christmas music on 101.1 FM that is a wonderful addition to the festivities.
House on Robindale – This home has been sold, the light show has moved for 2022. Check out their facebook page for details of a possible new location. This home, located in the Las Vegas Valley and owned by hypnotist Marc Savard, has a Christmas light display that is often (ironically) referred to as “hypnotic”. His amazing, flashing light show mixes Top 40 Hits with Christmas favorites, which sets it apart from the others. The light show begins on Thanksgiving Day and continues through New Years Eve, and this year is his 10th anniversary! The lights are activated each day at 6 PM and stay lit until 10 PM. You do not want to miss this incredible display with over 100,000 lights!
*The Christmas House in Boulder City –I haven’t seen any info yet in 2022 for this display, but check back. The award-winning home at 1525 5th Street in Boulder City was the winner of the 2016 The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC. In 2019, they turned on the lights on Friday, December 6th, and they have more planned this year for this annual tradition than ever before. At 5pm, they will have a stage performance from the ‘Intensive Company’ from Dance Etc.! Then, at 5:30 pm Santa and Mrs. Clause along with Jingle Cat (of course!) will do the countdown and then the lights will come on for the season! Lights will run nightly from 5pm-9pm, weather permitting.

Another options for FREE Holiday lights and decor is to walk around on the Strip. The Casinos always trim out their lobbies, etc for Christmas and some of them are spectacular! I recommend the Wynn and Encore properties, City Center area and the Park and T-Mobile arena areas.
Please let me know in the comments, any light displays I may have missed. There are quite a few residential displays around town, so I wasn’t able to list them all.
