Independence Day will be celebrated across the country on July 4th. Las Vegas will likely be a popular travel destination for the 4th, and has some of the best fireworks displays you may ever see. Celebrate our nation’s birthday in Las Vegas!
As we learn about plans for our July 4th holiday here in Las Vegas, we will list the events below. So please follow the links and check with the organizers before you decide to head out.
July 4th events
Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade – For their 27th year, you’re invited to be a part of a reimagined celebration of our country’s big day – America’s Birthday Party Parade. This traveling party will feature eye-catching parade floats, towering balloons, and captivating performances that have become 4th of July traditions in Summerlin. You can get more information on this virtual event and stay up to date at their website here. The parade route begins on Hills Center Drive and follows Village Center Circle and is scheduled to start at 9am.
Station Casinos will celebrate its 45th-anniversary with multiple fireworks spectaculars starting, where it all began, at Palace Station on Thursday, July 1 at 9 p.m. The celebration will continue through the weekend with fireworks on Sunday, July 4, at 9 p.m. at Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Ranch Resort. The show, presented by Fireworks by Grucci, will be live-streamed on all social media channels including Twitch.
Station Casinos’ properties will honor the momentous anniversary with gaming offers, dining specials, and hotel packages made exclusively for locals during July.
The Station Casinos July 4th Fireworks are set to go off on the east and west sides of town at Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson and Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Summerlin. The fireworks show is set for 9pm on Saturday, July 4th and should last approximately nine-minutes.
The City of Henderson – The City of Henderson will salute America by hosting a Star-Spangled Sky 2021 Fireworks event on Sunday, July 4 starting at 9pm. You can view from a safe location to ensure social distancing. Fireworks will be launched from 4 locations across the valley:
-GVR Resort Spa & Casino
-Lake Las Vegas
-M Resort Spa Casino
-Galleria at Sunset
The city will broadcast patriotic music during the fireworks on the following iHeart radio stations.
Stars, Stripes & Sails at Lake Las Vegas– Hosted by Lake Las Vegas Water Sports. Beginning at 11am, get your ticket for a 2 hour time block. Only 7:30pm tickets will have access to fireworks, which are at 9pm. Tickets are $50, and some of the time slots are already sold out. The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas is holding its annual Independence Day party all weekend long. Each night at 10 pm, July 2-4, 2021. It will be staged from multiple locations on the Plaza’s roofs and towers and should be visible for miles. Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Carson Avenue to Ogden Avenue to allow for pedestrian traffic.
Aviators Post-Game Fireworks– vs. Sacramento River Cats. Gates open at 6pm. This event happens Friday, July 2nd and Saturday, July 3rd. Tickets start at $22.
Wet ‘N’ Wild Las Vegas– The Red, White & Wild fireworks extravaganza will be held on Sunday, July 4th from 6pm-10pm. Twilight admission starts at $19.99 at 4pm.
Lake Las Vegas Fireworks -Lake Las Vegas will be part of the 2021 Star Spangled Sky display set off by City of Henderson.
M Resort Fireworks Display– The M Resort will be part of the 2021 Star Spangled Sky display set off by City of Henderson.
Boulder City Damboree events– The Damboree festivities extend over two days, beginning with the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 3rd at 7:00AM and culminating in the popular fireworks show our town is known for on the fourth!
The Rotary Club of Boulder City will hold it’s annual Pancake Breakfast on the 3rd of July from 7am – 9am.They’ll be serving pancakes, sausages and the fixings with coffee or juice. This is always on an ‘open donation’ basis and any proceeds after their costs will benefit the Senior Center! Located at Bicentennial Park, 1100 Colorado Street.
July 4th festivities begin at 4pm at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Parking is $10 per vehicle. The fireworks show begins at 9pm.
Cowabunga Bay fireworks- Cowabunga Bay is open, but plans for fireworks have not been announced as of yet.
