Independence Day will be celebrated across the country in the upcoming weeks. Las Vegas is a popular travel destination for the 4th, and has some of the best fireworks displays you may ever see. This year they are spread out across a few different days-so plenty of options to check out more than one show.
Caesar’s Palace holds a large Fireworks display every year for the 4th, and this year they will do the same. Their show, however, will be held on Saturday, June 30th, just before the 4th. The show will begin around 9:15pm and typically lasts over 13 minutes.
You don’t need a seat across the street, as you can see the display from a pretty good distance. If you want to be upfront for the action, it is possible, but expect to shell out for it. Paris Las Vegas does offer great views from atop their Eiffel Tower Experience, at around $100 for one hour of viewing. If you want to have a meal with a view of the fireworks, try the Beer Park at Paris. Many people also line the pedestrian bridge between Bally’s and the Bellagio.
The Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown will host its Plaza Pool Nights Independence Day Pool Party on Saturday, June 30, 2018 on the rooftop pool. The pool party is for 21 yrs and over, enjoy music at the pool all day, after 7 will be drink specials, a hotdog eating contest, and the fireworks scheduled for 10:45 pm.
Also happening downtown for Independence Day is a FREE concert featuring Billy Ray Cyrus as part of the Downtown Rocks Concert series. The concert is on July 4th and starts at 9pm at the Fremont Street Experience.
Mandalay Bay and the Stratosphere are both planning fireworks events on Wednesday, July 4th. Mandalay Bay returns with their 4th of July Beach party. The show returns to the resort’s elaborate and spacious swimming pool/beach area, with a performance by the “reggae-fusion group” Mystic Roots Band. While you can watch the fireworks from nearby hotels and from the Strip for free, entry into the concert and Mandalay Beach will cost you $32.14 (after fees) for one ticket, or $29.30 per ticket (after fees), if you buy two tickets. The concert starts at 8 PM on July 4th, with the fireworks expected to be shot off at 9 PM.
The Stratosphere will be shooting their fireworks off from the parking garage at 9:15pm. There are multiple places at the Stratosphere to watch the show, however, details haven’t been released as of yet. Check back, I’ll try to update anything I find. They have also dubbed the 4th of July Locals Day. NV residents receive free tower admission (10am-6pm) and BOGO free at Crafted Buffet. Always free valet and self parking.
Station Casinos is once again hosting the largest 4th of July fireworks shows in Southern Nevada. Get ready because on Wednesday, July 4, the show will start at approximately 9 p.m. It’s called the “July 4th Fireworks Blast” and this year they will offer a third show shared between the neighboring Fiesta Rancho and Texas Stations Casinos, in addition to the usual Red Rock and GVR Casinos. At GVR, doors open at 6:30pm, there will be food trucks and beverage tents. Click here to RSVP, space is limited. Once the wristbands are gone, there will be no more space open to the public. To pick up your wristbands, visit the Green Valley Ranch Resort Rewards Center between June 25, 2018 to July 3, 2018 between 10 a.m. to 10:59 p.m.
Celebrate Americana at Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas on Saturday, July 7th. There will be live music, art, and fireworks at The Village. Enjoy an incredible Fireworks Show displayed over the lake at 9 pm, that can be easily viewed from the MonteLago Village and the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa.
Las Vegas 51’s Baseball Fireworks will be held after the game on Tuesday, July 3rd. The game is at 7:30pm, and fireworks take place after the game. Seats typically run around $17 and some change.
I’ll update the post as new info becomes available. This is a growing list, so bookmark it and keep checking back! If you know of a free (or very cheap) 4th of July event, please let me know about it. firstname.lastname@example.org
