Experience Downtown Container Park, an open-air shopping center filled with boutique retail shops, unique restaurants, and live entertainment for the whole family – located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas! And yes, it’s stores and restaurants are made up of actual shipping containers.
From gourmet quick service dining at Downtown Terrace to award winning beef jerky at JoJo’s Jerky, there’s something for everyone. Kids will love the interactive playground featuring The Treehouse, and adults can relax on the lawn while enjoying FREE live music, movies at the Dome, and more on the main stage.
The Downtown Container Park has lots of free and cheap events going on every month. Some of the events they’ve done in this past year include Cinco de Mayo parties, a St. Patrick’s Day party, May the Fourth be with you, and celebrating Dr. Suess’s birthday. They have beer or wine walks throughout the year as well. Some of these include Fall into Wine, or Wine’s of the World. These are typically all you can drink events with live entertainment and deals on food as well. Tickets are $25 online and $30 at the door.
There are other options for events as well. Kids events called Kids Camp happen on various Saturdays and each one has a different theme. Previous camps themes have been Sports Day, Superhero Day and even Boot Camp. Two hours of pure fun for your littles for the price of $10. These camps typically run 11am-1pm.
Be Mine Wine Walk– Enjoy all you can drink wine as you stroll through the park, February 8th, 2020 from 6pm-9pm. Dance the night away with live entertainment playing on the stage. Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the door. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. Must be 21+
Free Events at Downtown Container Park
Karaoke in the Park– Every Tuesday night on the main stage from 7pm-10pm.
Live Music every Friday night starting anywhere from 6pm and going until 11:30pm. Also most Saturday nights from 8:30-11:30pm. Live music is dependent on other events, you can see the exact times and bands scheduled on their website Entertainment page.
If Jazz is more your style, they also have Jazz Session Sundays every last Sunday of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm in the park.
Sunset Cinema– Downtown Container Park’s signature Sunset Cinema event is a free movie night open to the public! Guests can bring blankets and chairs for seating on The Lawn, movies begin at sundown. Upcoming Sunset Cinema dates:

- July 25th- The Incredibles 2
- August 1st- How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
- August 8th- Captain Marvel
On top of all of these amazing events, they also have the Dome. The Dome at Downtown Container Park is an immersive, 4K-visual dome theater experience inspired by the vibe of downtown Las Vegas. Nearly 14 million pixels surround viewers in a series of ultra-HD, 360-degree imagery designed for all ages. Over 36,000 lumens light up an indoor dome set above 25 recliner-style seats to give movie goers a whole new experience. Old school rockers will love Pink Floyd:The Wall, or Led Zepplin, or bring the kids to explore the universe at Perfect Little Planet.
