St. Patrick’s Day occurs annually on March 17 in observance of the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. What began as a religious feast day in the 17th century has evolved into a variety of festivals across the globe celebrating Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, and a whole lot of green.
Here in Las Vegas, there are a number of local spots where you can get yourself a serving of Irish culture, foods and beer. Check out these events below and get ready for your green beers.
AREA15 -AREA15 is getting in the spirit this St. Patrick’s Day by hosting its first bar crawl Lepre-Con Crawl on March 17. Guests are invited to come dressed ready to celebrate the luck o’ the Irish and choose their own adventure as they sip their way through the bars of AREA15. Participating venues include Oddwood Bar, The Beast by Todd English, Emporium Arcade Bar, Five Iron Golf and Dueling Axes. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate. Tickets are $32 per person and includes entry to AREA15 and one domestic draft beer at each of the five bars inside AREA15. Tickets can be purchased online.
Big Dog’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration– This event kicks off at 10 am on 3/17/21 with our traditional Corned Beef & Cabbage Platter and our new Big Dog’s Irish Nachos which will be served until 10 pm, while supplies last. Cabo Wabo Cantina – This St. Patrick’s Day, the cantina is taking an irish twist on their menu with special Irish-inspired Mexican dishes, available March 16 through March 19, and limited-edition green beverages and tortilla chips, available on March 17. Exclusively on St. Patrick’s Day, green beer will be available with prices starting at $7, as well as green frozen margaritas, starting at $13. Green tortilla chips will also be served with the cantina’s famous house-made salsa, priced at $4.50.
Freedom Beat-This St. Patrick’s Day, guests can enjoy traditional and Irish-inspired food and drink specials at Freedom Beat inside Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino beginning March 17. The celebratory menus include authentic corned beef brisket, potato leek soup, Jameson Irish whiskey flights, Guinness drafts and Domestic beer buckets for $30 and $7 Jameson shots.
The Front Yard at Ellis Island- In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, this Brewer’s Dinner will offer dishes including Reuben Egg Rolls, Fried Brussels Sprouts, Shepherd’s Pie, and more! Guests can purchase this epicurean experience for $65 with a 15% gratuity collected the night of. Tickets are available online and social distancing will be enforced between tables with a maximum of six guests each. This event is open to guests 21+.
Kona Grill -Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Kona Grill with $3 Green Beer, Sake & Seltzer Specials along with $6 Corned Beef Sliders during their St. Patrick’s Week of happy hour specials, available March 15-20. Corned Beef Sliders are available for dinner, takeout, and delivery.
Off The Strip Bistro & Bar-On March 17, Off The Strip Bistro & Bar will serve festive dishes including corned beef and hash, corned beef and cabbage, and a corned beef sandwich. They will also offer Irish-inspired beverage specials on Jameson, Fireball, Guinness and Murphy’s Irish Stout.
Ri Ra Paddyfest 2021– This year of course will be a little different than past years, but they’re still going big! They will have live music the night before on 3/16 from 7-11pm and more live music ALL DAY on 3/17 from 1-11pm with THE BLACK DONNELLYS! Reservations will be accepted until 11 in the afternoon, and past that, seating will be on a first come basis. They will be adhering to all of the governor’s rules and regulations in order to keep guests and staff safe. Ri Ra Las Vegas is located inside the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay, 3930 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
STK Steakhouse- Get lucky at STK Steakhouse. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, enjoy $7 lil’ Corned Beef Sliders and $7 Leprechaun Stiletto cocktails during happy hour Monday, March 15 through Sunday, March 21. Corned Beef Sliders and Leprechaun Stilettos will also be available during regular dinner service.
St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebration on Fremont– The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas usually celebrates St. Patty’s Weekend like no one else. This annual tradition will look much different this year, as there are no planned events for 2021. There are also no tickets required to enter the street mall. You can still head down and enjoy green beer at their partner casinos and enjoy Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas.
Dropkick Murphy’s St. Patrick’s Day Live Stream– True to their annual tradition – with a twist for these turbulent times – Dropkick Murphys will unite with music fans from around the globe for Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick’s Day Stream 2021…Still Locked Down to virtually celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Wednesday, March 17 at 4:00 PM PT. The free streaming online concert–with no in-person audience–will be simulcast worldwide via www.DKMstream.com.

*McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon– Located in Town Square, this Irish pub has a full day of drink specials in store for you this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. March 17th, beginning at 11 am, enjoy $5 Green Beer, $6 Irish Whiskey, $7 Guinness. 6593 Las Vegas Blvd South Suite 222.
*St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival– (CANCELLED) Join the Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin at the Henderson Events Plaza for an entire weekend of celebrating. There will be a carnival, festival and entertainment, admission to all is free. Carnival games and rides require the purchase of tickets. Hours are Friday, March 13th from 5pm-10pm, Saturday, the 14th from 10am-11pm, and Sunday the 15th from noon-7pm. The Parade will be Saturday, March 14th from 10am-noon, and the Car Show will be Saturday from noon-6pm. See the link for the entertainment schedule and road closures. (200 S. Water St, Henderson.)
*The Celtic Feis celebration– (*MGM is closing all properties on March 17th, there will be no events held there)This celebration at NYNY Las Vegas Hotel & Casino will feature Irish bites from Nine Fine Irishmen, celebratory cocktails and live entertainment March 13th-17th. In its 11th year, enjoy festivities all weekend long beginning with the Parade on Friday, March 13th. Starting at 3pm at Bliss in the Park, winding through the casino and ending on the Brooklyn Bridge for the Wall of Fine ceremony at 3:30pm. Enjoy a second parade on Tuesday, March 17th as well, beginning at 9:30am. The parade is complimentary and open to guests of all ages. Admission to other festivities starting at 11:00 a.m. will start at $10 and guests must be at least 21 years of age. Entertainment schedule can be found at the link.
*New Vista’s Brews Best Craft Beer Festival– Join us to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, from 2pm-6pm. Celebrating its 13th year, Brew’s Best Craft Beer Festival is the longest running open-air beer festival in Southern Nevada. Attendees enjoy an afternoon of unlimited samplings from both local and national breweries, entertainment, activities and games. Tickets range from $30-$45 and can be purchased at Eventbrite. Groupon is offering single day tickets for just $20, with entry starting at 2pm. They are selling fast, so hurry for this great deal! *O’Sheas Block Party– Tuesday, March 17th-Sunday, March 21st this party kicks off at noon on the 17th you’ll join the party in the LINQ Promenade with a parade at noon which will include leprechauns, beer trucks and live music. *Place on 7th– Saturday, March 14th, 4pm-8pm. Dust off those kilts and celebrate St. Party’s Day in Downtown Las Vegas! This event will feature a large selection of bottomless beers, live entertainment, and food trucks. $35-$50 tickets, bottomless beers from 5pm-8pm.
*St. Patrick’s Day Party at the Plaza– Tuesday, March 17th, the St. Patrick’s Day Party at the Plaza will begin at 7pm-11pm under the dome with live music, drink specials and leprechauns! At 10:0pm, catch a uniquely green fireworks show! Check the link for a detailed schedule and drink specials.
