According to the Mayo Clinic, working out and other forms of physical activity can definitely ease symptoms of depression or anxiety and make you feel better. Exercise may also help keep depression and anxiety from coming back once you’re feeling better. Your teen can ease stress and lighten their mood for free all summer long.
To help teens out, certified trainers at Planet Fitness have also designed 15 trainer-led workout videos and 10 downloadable workouts – encompassing cardio, strength, toning and sports circuits – just for high schoolers (across all fitness levels).
By the end of summer five lucky teens nationwide will be awarded with $10,000 individual academic scholarships via a TikTok video submission contest.
All summer long, they’ll have a High School Summer Pass™ leaderboard keeping track of the number of sign ups from each school. At the end of the summer, the top 10 schools on the leaderboard will each receive a $10,000 grant!
