Frugal film fanatics (or anyone wanting to enjoy entertainment on a budget) will want to “hit play” on this deal before it’s gone.
Nowadays, consumers can watch a movie anywhere, but the convenience of streaming can be costly — sometimes $5 or $6 for a new release.
And the alternative to streaming is renting a DVD or Blu-ray, which is not as popular as it once was years ago.
However, Redbox makes renting flicks easy, convenient and inexpensive for movie lovers on a budget.
You can rent a movie for around $2 at the red kiosks at grocery or convenience stores. Even better, you can return the disc to any Redbox location convenient to you.
The kiosks pack a full roster of movies from pop culture favorites to new releases. Plus, you’ll find a variety of genres available for rent.
Through Aug. 8, you can rent two (2) DVDs or Blu-rays for just $2 — use promo code 2FOR2 at checkout. That makes each rental just one buck! (Promo price is slightly higher in Maryland and South Carolina.)
Limit one use/code per transaction.
The discount only applies to the first rental night. Any additional days will be charged at full price. Rentals need to be returned by 9 p.m. the following day.
