I recommend going to the Orchard early in the day, rather than later. My kids loved running around, and getting some cider and donuts as well. I was raised on a small farm, so I love that my kids can experience all that fresh produce here in this big city.

History of Gilcrease Orchard
Thanks to the Gilcrease Family and their generosity, a 60 acre patch of the most fertile farming land in the Las Vegas area is still preserved. Located on the north side of town, Gilcrease Orchard is 60 acres of agricultural land where you can visit and hand pick your own fruits and vegetables throughout the year.
The two Gilcrease brothers, Ted and Bill kept this wonderful farm alive for many years. This was the Brothers’ dream, that the Orchard would be a place where families could bring their children and enjoy a sampling of the kind of life the brothers knew. They wanted to preserve this unique gem where the community can pick food fresh off the tree or vine and see, feel, and taste the difference.
