Art Festival of Henderson– On Mother’s Day weekend May 7th & 8th, from 9am-4pm, Water Street transforms into an arts district for the Art Festival of Henderson. The High Roller–Take Mom for a ride on the world’s tallest observation wheel at the end of the Linq’s Promenade. Lake Mead Cruises– Take Mom out to the lake this year and cruise. Enjoy a Champagne Brunch or for cooler temperatures and a smooth ride, enjoy a Dinner Cruise under the stars. Cruises are available on a paddlewheeler to and from Hoover Dam. Daily boat tours, special cocktail/dinner cruises, sunset dinner/dance cruises and breakfast cruises are available.
Red Rock Canyon-Take Mom on a scenic drive. The 13- mile scenic loop allows visitors to take in the beauty of the canyon from their vehicle or bicycle. It’s no secret mobsters love their mamas. It’s been heard that mobsters say they are closed for business when Mother’s Day arrives each May.
