Art Festival of Henderson– On Mother’s Day weekend May 13th & 14th, from 9am-4pm, Water Street transforms into an arts district for the Art Festival of Henderson. Shop for unique art, watch live demonstrations or listen to live music. They’ll have a colorful display of chalk art creations plus food and an interactive area just for kids. The High Roller–Take Mom for a ride on the world’s tallest observation wheel at the end of the Linq’s Promenade. Towering 550 ft above the Strip, enjoy 360 degree views of the entire Las Vegas valley in one of their 28 spacious cabins. Daytime tickets start at $23 and nighttime tickets start at $35 which is available from 6pm to midnight only. Red Rock Canyon-Take Mom on a scenic drive. The 13- mile scenic loop allows visitors to take in the beauty of the canyon from their vehicle or bicycle. There are many scenic stops along the way and plenty of photo opportunities. Timed entry is required through the month of May. Make your reservations here.
The Mob Museum
It’s no secret mobsters love their mamas. It’s been heard that mobsters say they are closed for business when Mother’s Day arrives each May. If Mom happens to be a teacher, May 6-14, 2023, The Mob Museum will offer Buy One, Get One free admission to all teachers and educational support professionals.
