Michaels stores offers inexpensive craft projects and MAKEbreak events that will help get those creative juices flowing for you and your kids.
Right now, families (especially little ones) can be creative with lots of family fun crafts, thanks to Michaels. And, if your little artists are feeling inspired over the weekend, head to Michaels for a fun afternoon of free family fun on Sundays.
Michaels MAKEbreak classes
Michaels’ popular Sunday Makebreak craft events offer a fun outlet for kids (and adults!) of all ages. Even better, there’s no need to register or sign-up — just head to the craft store’s project room to get started.
The weekly event takes place on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (local time) at participating locations. There are also a few weeks with Saturday morning classes, so please check the date and times when registering. The kits are available while supplies last.

February 4- Valentine’s Day Card
February 18- Marbled Paint Pour Pots
March 3: Spring Wreath
March 17: Hand Painted Flower Eggs
MAKEbreak events may require purchase of supplies, and prices vary with each project. Check different locations as some stores have no events, but a neighboring store might have them scheduled. This is a current upcoming events calendar.
Michaels Kids Club events
Michaels Kids Club Crafting events take place on select Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon at participating locations. The in-store event is FREE. All supplies are included.
February 10- Butterfly Painted Rocks (Saturday, 10am-Noon)
February 24- Alma Thomas Abstract Painting(Saturday 10am-Noon)
March 9- Friendship Bracelets
March 23- Plastic Egg Bunnies
Participants must register for the class.
*Camp Creatology has ended for the summer
Camp Creatology will be back next Summer. Purchase one kit in store and join the classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am- Noon to make a special project.
