Do you have a child at home obsessed with space and astronauts? Now they can have Story Time from Space, with books read by an actual astronaut!

Story Time from Space is a project of the Global Space Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit education foundation. They send children’s books to the International Space Station.
While in space, astronauts are videotaping themselves reading these books to the children of Earth. These videos are being edited and placed on the website- look under the heading ” Story Time Videos”. You can also check out their “Science Time videos” for science experiments in space as well.
New stories are still being read from Space, and you can access earlier readings at their website as well.
To make these stories even more useful for educators, cross-content curriculum is being designed to support the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core. All of the information will provide easy access for educators, families, libraries, science centers, and others, just look under the heading “Curriculum”.
