Curbside grocery pickup and delivery has become very popular in the last couple of years. It makes it easier for busy adults to grab groceries on the way home from work or activities, or without taking kids into the store, which has been my godsend. Skip the cart and shop from your phone or computer!
Many people also find it budget-friendly, as it’s harder to sneak impulse buys into the cart when you can see a running balance – and easier to delete non-essentials if you go over your expected total.
While some stores charge a fee for pickup services, digital coupons offered from the stores may offset or eliminate the cost of service. Make sure you scroll through the available coupons before you start shopping! Paper coupons may be accepted at pickup; check store details for information.
If you’d rather shop from your phone or computer and pick up groceries and household goods on your way home without getting out of the car, check out some of the options below for grocery pickup and delivery in Las Vegas and Henderson areas.
Grocery Pickup and Delivery options around Las Vegas
Due to people rushing to stock their homes, available time slots for grocery pickup may be pushed back a few days. Stock is also low on some of the items, so expect many unavailable items or substitutions. Note that digital coupons you’ve loaded may not apply to the substituted product, so if you have a digital coupon for a product, you will want to select “no substitutions” for that item. You can refuse a substitution from an order at time of pickup.
Most store websites indicate that tips are not accepted by associates. Shoppers report that tips have been accepted, so it’s your discretion whether or not you offer a tip.
Smith’s Grocery Pickup and delivery
Grocery pickup brings your order to your vehicle. Pickup is free for your first 3 orders, and $4.95 thereafter. Digital coupons for select product purchases may qualify you for free pickup, and they do run no-fee offers throughout the year. *Pickup time is typically available same day if order is placed in the morning or early afternoon. When you arrive at the store, pull into one of the pickup spots and call the number on the sign in front of you. An associate will bring your order to your car and review and changes with you.
Smith’s is happy to accept paper coupons at time of pickup, but it will increase your pickup time, as the associate will have to go inside to make the adjustment. Ads run from Wednesday-Tuesday, so make sure you pickup order before the end of the sale in order to receive those prices. Items are selected and scanned the day of pickup, so use the correct sales ad for the day of pickup.
Your total on the website will not reflect applied digital coupons or discounts, which can be confusing, but your final receipt will show the details. Check your receipt before your leave the parking lot. Cash, check, and gift cards cannot be accepted. They’re currently unable to accept government benefits (including WIC and SNAP) as payment. Your order won’t be charged to your card until you pick up.
Delivery may be available through Instacart within 1 hour for $9.95, depending on location. Shipping is available for select items in 1-3 days, and is free for orders over $35. Use the convenient Smith’s app for quickly adding shopping items to your cart.
Von’s & Albertson’s Pickup and Delivery
Shop Online and Save $20 Plus Free Delivery On Your First Order Of $75+. Similar to Smith’s, they offer pickup and delivery, sometimes same day for early orders. You will need to sign up with email to place your online orders.
WalMart Grocery Pickup and Delivery
Free grocery pickup brought to your car on orders of $30 or more (fee is occasionally waived). Many non-grocery items available in the store are also able to be picked up through the service (toys, clothing, hygiene items, sporting goods, etc). Free same-day pickup is typically available when you order before 1pm. When you show up at your preferred location, they’ll even load your car for you in minutes.
When you opt for Walmart Grocery delivery, you will pick day and hour time frame for deliver. You can track your order once it’s been dispatched, so you’ll know exactly when it will arrive at your door. Same day delivery is available at select stores, starting at $7.95-$9.95 per order, depending on delivery time selected. Monthly and annual memberships are available. If you plan to order delivery more than 2-3 times a month, the memberships will save you money.

Whole Foods 1 Hour Pickup or 2 Hour Delivery for Prime Members
If you’re an Amazon Prime member and you live within a grocery delivery area, you can shop at Amazon.com/WholeFoods. Prime members get free 1 hour pickup or 2 hour delivery on purchases of $35 or more. One hour delivery may be available for an additional fee of up to $9.95. Don’t let the Whole Foods association make you think the groceries will be overpriced – special prime member deals throughout the site are same prices you’d pay in most grocery stores.
Target Drive Up and Delivery
Many items are available for curbside pickup throughout the store (excluding perishables or refrigerated/frozen products). Same day delivery by Shipt is available in select markets with a free 4 week trial, annual membership, or pay per order. Many non-perishable items are also available for regular free shipping for orders over $35.
Amazon
Many grocery items are available for shipping on Amazon with Amazon Prime. Discounts are available via product coupons, as well as subscribe and save purchases. Be sure to compare prices to local grocery stores, as some prices are very inflated (and some are better deals).
Instacart
Instacart Delivery is available at many stores in Las Vegas, including Smith’s, Von’s & Albertson’s, Costco, Sams, CVS, and more. The delivery fee depends on the size of your order and the delivery time that you choose. The fee for each delivery will be displayed when selecting a delivery window during checkout, before you place your order. Policies may vary per store.

Freed’s Bakery does local delivery, most of the time, same day from the Eastern location. They have an extensive menu online to choose from, and if you call they can tell you what’s in stock. Smith’s grocery store uses instacart and you can choose bakery items from their stores as well. Sorry for the delay, hope this helps!
