With venues and bars on lock down across the country, there are plenty of things you can watch from the safety of your couch. For all of you music lovers, missing your live concerts, here are some great options for virtual live music performances you can watch from home.
#MetallicaMondays is Metallica’s new weekly concert series. The series sees the band posting archived sets of live performances from over the years. Tune into YouTube for free on Mondays at 5 PM PST to catch a complete Metallica show from the archives. You can watch previous videos and set a reminder to tune in for the next live show. You can also watch some of your favorite Metallica music videos.
Jimmy Buffet’s Cabin Fever Virtual Tour
While live touring may be temporarily paused as we all do our part to socially distance, but we all still desperately need some fun! Each Wednesday and Saturday at 8PM Eastern/7PM Central (with an encore at 8PM Pacific) when we will be re-broadcasting a show from the archives “live” like we would from a night on the tour! Watch on Margaritaville.tv or Listen on Radio Margaritaville on Sirius/XM. The iHeartRadio Living Room Concert Series
The concert series, which is sponsored by State Farm, will continue each Wednesday, broadcasting on iHeart radio stations nationwide accompanied by a video stream on the iHeartRadio YouTube channel.
Neil Young Fireside Sessions
On a semi-regular basis, Neil Young will host “Fireside Sessions” from his home in Telluride, Colorado. “Because we are all at home and not venturing out, we will try to do a stream from my fireplace with my lovely wife [Daryl Hannah] filming. It will be a down-home production, a few songs, a little time together,” explains the songwriting legend. Look for the next session at Neil Young Archives.
