If you’re looking to save some dough on gift cards, Panera Bread has an offer fresh out of the oven.

Whether you’re buying gift cards for friends and family or to treat yourself, it’s not often you can get a discount on them — even more so at the fast-casual eatery. Plus, as many frugal diners already know, Panera Bread is not known for offering many specials or coupons. That makes this deal even more valuable.

With no minimum purchase required, you can save 20% on gift card purchases made online — from July 21 to Aug. 31. The offer is not valid in-café — only online.

The offer applies to both plastic and digital gift cards. However, if you choose plastic, expect to pay a nominal shipping fee. 

If you already have a Panera Bread gift card, the offer also applies to reloads made online.

Even better for hungry bargain hunters, you can use the discounted gift card on top of the chain’s current promo code discount (also valid through Aug. 31) for maximum savings. That’s definitely a win-win for those who love to save money on dining out.

If you’re a regular at Panera Bread, it might be financially wise to “prepay” for all those lunch and coffee breaks months in advance. For example, a $100 gift card will now only cost $80. It’s just like getting a few sandwiches or cups of soup for FREE.
