The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre cultural institution designed to commemorate Las Vegas’ dynamic history and to provide a vision for a sustainable future. The Preserve features museums, galleries, outdoor concerts and events, colorful botanical gardens and an interpretive trail system that meanders through a scenic wetland habitat.
Your general admission ticket also includes entrance to all of the Springs Preserve’s indoor museums and galleries, including the Nevada State Museum and seasonal Butterfly Habitat, and access to the outdoor natural areas, Botanical Garden and trails.

Train Rides are back at the Springs Preserve
Trains helped settle the Old West, and now they’re a piece of the present, too! Take an 8-minute narrated, round-trip ride from the Exploration Loop Trailhead to Boomtown 1905 on our trackless train, and uncover Las Vegas history with every turn of the wheels.
Boarding Passes are Free for members or included with paid admission. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Spring Plant Sale
Saturday, March 23, 2024, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Spruce up your outdoor living spaces with the perfect desert-adapted plants. The spring plant sale will feature various plant species ranging from 2 inches to 5 gallons. Springs Preserve garden experts will be available to answer your gardening questions. For easy transport, be sure to bring a wagon or cart for your purchases. Admission to the plant sale is free.
Winter Garden Class series
Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024; Sunday, March 10, 2024; 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The Springs Preserve is proud to announce our winter garden class series! Come and learn from our gardening experts during three specialty classes designed for desert climate gardening. Participants will work alongside garden education and horticulture experts and learn what to pay attention to while gardening in the Mojave Desert.
Free Class: Drip Irrigation

Get the help you need to make your landscape desert-friendly and your irrigation system more water-efficient! These FREE classes are taught by experts from the Southern Nevada Water Authority(Opens another site in new window), in partnership with the Springs Preserve.
Yes, you can learn the skills to design and install a drip-irrigation system. We’ll show you how to select and assemble components, and you’ll build a drip-system model right in the classroom. Drip irrigation is the water-smart way to ensure healthy, happy plants!

Nature and Learning Tours

The Springs Preserve is excited to announce a new Nature and Learning tour series, presented by expert staff. Topics include desert gardening and plants, sustainable architecture, and local history and archaeology.
Tour schedule subject to change. Please confirm daily availability, times and topics on-site. Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes; bring water, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.
Pop-Up Science Demonstrations
Friday-Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Included with timed-entry admission ticket.)
Learn more about the Springs Preserve and the world around us with free and fun activities with our educational experts! Experience story times, experiments, games, scavenger hunts and more daily. Please confirm daily availability, times and topics on-site.
Toddler Time
Bring your little ones to the Garden Classroom every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for kid-friendly activities and stories, with new themes weekly.
Be sure to check their calendar events page and their Facebook page often for new fun and exciting things to come at the Springs Preserve. At this time, there aren’t any large events scheduled as they re-open to the public. Tickets must be reserved online, in advance for a specific time slot.
There will be no ticket sales on site. Tickets to the Springs Preserve are currently $4.95 for children and $9.95 for visitor Adults. Children 2 and under are always free.

- All guests, including members, must reserve a free, timed ticket in advance. The online reservation system will be available on SpringsPreserve.org. No walk up ticket purchases allowed.
- Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the property.
- High-touch surfaces, including restrooms, are being disinfected throughout the day.

Springs Cafe–
Springs Cafe is open Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Because all good things are better together, Bronze Cafe and Aspire Coffee House have teamed up to bring exceptional sammiches, salads, brunch, burgers, lattes, smoothies, and libations to Springs Cafe at the Springs Preserve.
The Springs Preserve Playground and Splash Pad are now closed for the season. Play elements on the main playground are recommended for children ages 5-12 years old. The splash pad is for children 2-5 years old.
