Halloween is a holiday enjoyed by adults and children alike. Fall is here, and there are many events to choose from around the Las Vegas valley, even Haunted Houses!

Fun for the family
Pumpkin Patch at Gilcrease Orchard
The Pumpkin Patch will be opening September 23, 2023. Located on the north side of town, Gilcrease Orchard is 60 acres of agricultural land where you can visit and hand pick your own fruits and vegetables. At this time, they will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00 am until 2:00pm. Come early and beat the heat and the crowds.
Tickets are required for entry to Fall Harvest & Orchard. Wheelbarrows to carry pumpkins are first come first serve.They also have items for sale at the check out such as peanut butter and almond butter, kettle corn, and famous apple and pear cider. Check out their website here for a current list of what’s in season. I recommend going early in the season. We went closer to Halloween and there were no pumpkins left to pick.
Moapa Valley Corn Maze 2024
Come out to the Moapa Valley Corn Maze and check out the day maze, the haunted corn maze, the pumpkin patch, zombie paintball, hay rides and so much more! There’s plenty to do for the kiddos, a Bounce pillow, pedal carts, playground, corn pit and cow train. And please don’t forget the tasty fall treats and the Pumpkin Patch!
The Corn Maze is open select days and times in October, you can see the full schedule here. They will run Wednesday- Sunday from September 29th- October 30th, as well as October 31st. Admission to the corn maze is $16, you can also book your own firepit for $50. You can book your tickets online, in advance here.
HallOVeen at the Magical Forest
On October 8th, HallOVeen at the Magical Forest returns, welcoming boys and ghouls of all ages for a family-friendly Halloween experience benefitting Opportunity Village. The magical forest will be transformed into a frightfully fun festival filled with food, rides and attractions for all. Dates for the Magical Forest will be October 11-13, and 18-31. They’ll have treat stations, entertainment, great food, and boo-tiful Halloween and Pumpkin displays.
This year, admission to HallOVeen at the Magical Forest includes ALL the rides and access to the two mini-escape rooms. Tickets should be purchased online and in advance. Gates open at 5:30pm each day. Opportunity Village is located at 6300 West Oakey Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146. Tickets are $24 and can be purchased at the link. Children 3 and under are FREE. You can purchase 4 pack and 6 pack tickets for discounted rate.
Town Scary at Town Square
Children of all ages are welcome. October 31st, 2024, 4pm-7pm. Town SCARY is free and open to the public. *Children should bring their own bag or basket for trick-or-treating.
Springs Preserve Annual Haunted Harvest- *SOLD OUT
A family friendly festival for all ages, featuring trick-or-treat stations, a “Boo-tanical Garden”, monster training, carnival games, crafts, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and much more. The Haunted Harvest at the Springs Preserve will be held the next to last weekend in October. Thursday, October 19- Sunday, October 22nd, each day from 5pm-9pm.
Tickets cost $12 per person, children age 2 and under are free. Springs Preserve Value members receive $8, and Silver State Pass, Gold and Platinum donor members receive free admission. To purchase tickets, visit their website. Don’t wait, as this sells out every year. Springs Preserve is located at 333 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89107.
Dia de Muertos at the Springs Preserve- SOLD OUT for Saturday
Nov. 1-3, 2024, 5 to 9 p.m.
This event blends rich customs with exciting activities for all ages such as live theater and dance performances, music and mariachis, entertaining games, arts and crafts, food vendors, and much more. Tickets are $15, $9 for kids 3-17. Free for children ages 2 and younger. Attendance is limited and tickets are sold online only. This event sells out every year, get your tickets here.
Pumpkin Patch at the Mckee Ranch October 1 – October 31st. The Pumpkin Patch hours will vary due to fall daylight changes. Opening hours are 11 to 5pm daily. For admission, they do ask for a $25 donation per family. Also, you can join LaLaPhotography at McKee Ranch for the entire month of October again! They are booking now and book up very fast! Don’t miss your chance. $59 for a 20 min session which includes 3 digital images/$59 credit! (Entrance fee to McKee Ranch($25 per family donation) not included)

Museum of Monsters at Tivoli Village (not yet updated for 2024)
The Museum of Monsters is an interactive social media photo-op experience filled with life-sized creatures and monsters from your nightmares. This is the place to get your scary selfies this Halloween. Tickets to the Museum of Monsters are $20 per person, and it’s located at Tivoli Village as part of the Fear Factory Las Vegas.
Pumpkin Patches by Seasonal Adventures Oct 1-31
With three locations in the Vegas valley for 2024, these pumpkin patches provide thousands of quality pumpkins, as well as safe, fun family environment for you to enjoy. Each pumpkin patch has snacks and beverages for purchase, a petting zoo, inflatable bounce house, giant inflatable slides, a train you can ride, mechanical rides, and a bungee jump.
For locations and hours, check out their website here. Pumpkin patches are open now and will run Monday-Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 3pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-9pm. They will open early at 11am on October 28th for Nevada Day and will close October 31st at 7pm. Check out their Know Before You Go page.
Monster Mash on Main at the District
The district at Green Valley Ranch is having their annual Halloween Ghost Walk, October 31st, from 5pm-8pm. There will be entertainment with a costume contest and trick or treating at participating retailers with a sign in their window.
Annual Farm Fall Harvest Festival at Las Vegas Farm
Festival activities will include cow train for toddlers, pony rides, amazing maize maze, concession stand and more. Visitors will find a large selection of speciality pumpkins and squash, along with artisanal breads, jams/jellies, our amazing local honey and fresh eggs from right here on THE FARM.
Their selection of pumpkins and squash is arguably the best in the entire Valley. At least a dozen of otherwise hard-to-find varieties… from minuscule to massive sizes… are available for decorating, carving and baking. Dates for the festival will be October 5 & 6, 12 & 13, 19 & 20, 26 & 27 from 9am-5pm.
Entry to the festival/animals is $5 for 12 and under, and $10 for ages 13+. Concessions and ride prices vary. The Farm is located at 7222 West Grand Teton Drive on the North side of town. The Farm also holds a year round farmer’s market every Saturday and Sunday, admission to the market is free.
Parade of Mischief 2024
Through October 26, 2024 every Friday and Saturday at 6PM
Park Centre Drive at Downtown Summerlin- Fridays & Saturdays in October at 6pm. A frightfully festive family-friendly parade filling the streets of Downtown Summerlin with mischievous mayhem featuring dancing zombies, ghosts, witches, wizards, a rockin’ dead skeleton band and more!

Lowe’s Halloween Spooky Trick-or-Treat (Not yet announced for 2024)
Of course, treats are better than tricks! And Lowe’s is adding to the candy haul (and fall fun!) with its family friendly Spooky Trick-or-Treat Event on Oct. 28, 2023. Bring your candy bag, come dressed in a costume and get FREE candy at your local Lowe’s from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (local time) on Oct. 28, 2023. Register now for the sweet event. Space is limited.
Halloween Express- Southern Nevada Railway
This year’s event is a family-friendly Halloween monster mash dance party with a DJ in our event center at the railyard. There will be music, games to play and treats. The Halloween Express runs the evenings of October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26.
The train event will operate on Friday(6:00 and 7:00pm) and Saturday evenings (5:00 and 6:00 pm). Tickets are $30 and $35. The Nevada State Railway is located at 601 Yucca Street in Boulder City.
City of Henderson Halloween Happenings
The City of Henderson has some Halloween events in the month of October. Some events are free, some cost from $5-$10. Please see the link for all info, most of these events require registration at the link. Please refer to the link above for each events specific details.
-Heritage Harvest Festival– Saturday, October 12th 11am- 2pm. Free for all ages. This family-friendly festival returns with live entertainment, a craft fair with 40+ vendors, children’s activities including a petting zoo, two bounce houses, face painting, train rides and multiple games for all ages. Free food items and refreshments include popcorn and cotton candy. Heritage Park Senior Facility
–Spooky Birds, Friday, October 12th 4:30-6pm. Dress up in your Halloween costume and learn about spooky birds, make a craft, take a tour on the Bird Mobile, and trick or treat along our walking path. Watch out for things that go bump in the night. Ages 4-10. $7 in advance. Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve.
–Little Villains Ball– Friday, October 18, 6pm-7:30pm. Ages 3-12. Dress as your favorite Disney villain while celebrating All Hallows’ Eve. Bring your dancing feet and your sweet tooth to celebrate the misunderstood. Parent/guardian must remain on property with children ages 3-5. $6. Valley View Rec Center
–Cosmic Swim Freaky Friday– October 18, 7-9pm. An interstellar aquatic experience featuring music, lights, and glow gear. All ghouls and gals welcome. $5
–Zombie 5K Run -Saturday, October 18th 6pm. $35, Zombie 1-mile walk $20. Ages 5+. The walking dead return to Henderson for their second feeding, this year at Wildhorse Golf Course. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween garb or as a member of the undead. All fitness levels are welcome. Registration is required at Active.com.
-Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum & lunch– October 19, 11am- 2pm. Start with lunch at A&W Restaurant in Boulder City and talk about your favorite Halloween movies. Then you will drive down the street to the museum. This museum includes everything from movie props, posters and creature suits to custom pieces representing monsters throughout movie history. If you do not like scary things, this is not the event for you. Register by Oct 17.
–Pumpkin Painting– Saturday, October 19th, 10am-11am. Children will be provided with a pumpkin that they can paint for Halloween! Costumes are optional as children may get messy! Ages 3-5, $10. Valley View Rec center
–Tea Party Series: Ghosts n’ Goblins- October 19th, 10am-1pm. Dress up in your Halloween best for a tea party. With activities, games and more. Refreshments and snacks provided. Must register by October 12th. $20
–Trunk or Treat– Thursday, October 24th 4:30-6:30pm and 7:00-9:00pm. $3/ $5 day of. Henderson’s premier safe trick or treating event returns for an evening of festive fun. Put on your costume and follow the trick-or- treat trail in our parking lot where we pass out treats (or tricks) from the trunks of our festively decorated cars. The event includes a variety of activities and entertainment. A set number of tickets will be available for each time slot. Black Mountain Rec Center.
–Haunting at the Ranch– October 27th 6pm-9pm, 12+. $10. Calling all Ghouls and Goblins, come dressed to impress at our first annual masquerade ball! Enjoy a night of dancing with a live DJ, spooky games and activities along with light refreshments. Prizes will be awarded for best costume in the following categories: Best Dressed, Spookiest, Most Comical, Fantastic Duo & Best Themed Group. Whitney Ranch Rec Center
–Pet Trick-or-Treat 1-Mile Walk– October 26th 10am- Noon. $7-10. Show off your pet’s Halloween costume and bring a trick-or-treat pail as you along the Heritage Park Trail, stopping at our stations along the way to collect dog treats. Visit the agility dog park to see if your pet is interested in trying out some tricks. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and best human/pet costume combo during each session.
Join us for an after party in the dog park where we will announce winners and have agility courses and more treats for the pups. Registration is per pet and includes treats and a special gift for your four-legged friend. Heritage Bark Park
–New! Teenie Weenie Halloweenie– October 30th, 10am- Noon and 3pm-5pm. Ages 1.5- 6 years. $5. Get your little ones dressed in their favorite costume and take part in some spooktacular shenanigans! Asylum & Hotel Fear Haunted Houses
Asylum is back for 2024 and time Slots will be selling out!!! The scary thrill is located on 3 acres in the Meadows Mall Parking lot. The benefit to each patron is anyone buying a ticket will receive a VIP Experience-2 Haunted Houses.
Tickets are $45 per person depending on group size (limit 6 in one group). Hours will be Thursday-Sunday beginning September 29th through October 31st beginning at 6:30pm. Please see the link for exact calendar dates, hours and tickets.
Nightmare on Spring Mountain
From the dive bar that brought you the Miracle Christmas Pop-Up Bar, the Sand Dollar Lounge is putting on a Halloween themed pop-up. October 1st-31st, 2024, the blues bar will transform into a creepy, spooky, scary, ookie celebration of All Things Halloween.
The entire bar & lounge will be covered in Halloween decor and lighting, and will offer a limited number of themed cocktails (and Oktoberfest beers, naturally). Costumes are highly encouraged, including and especially on the themed nights during the pop-up run. See their FB page for more event details.
The Trilogy of Terror 2024
Presented by the Freakling Brothers, the Trilogy of Terror- Revival, Death in the Desert is rated the #1 Scariest Haunt in the country by USA Today. They offer 3 haunted houses-The Coven of 13 with Witches, the Gates of Hell, the only R-rated Haunted House in the state of Nevada, and Castle Vampyre, where they say seeing is believing.

The Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball
October 26, 2024. Also known as the Sin City Halloween Ball, it’s back to party in 2024. The Ball will be held at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Ticket sales will be limited for space, so grab your tickets now before they sell out.
Don’t forget to check out the Friday Pre-Party, THRILLER, and the Saturday afterhours party, AFTERLIFE.Must be 21 to enter, strict dress code is enforced. Click for more info, to purchase tickets, for dress code and see photos from last year.
The Official Saw Escape Room
The Official SAW Escape is an immersive, multi-room (progressive) escape experience that brings to life twisted games inspired by the blockbuster SAW film franchise.
By working together to combat their fears, venture far out of their comfort zones, and solve intricate puzzles, guests will have the opportunity to win their freedom as they traverse the twists and turns of an entire factory of Jigsaw’s games – one of the largest escape experiences in the world. Zak Baggins Haunted Museum
The Haunted Museum is the go-to destination for paranormal thrill-seekers, ghost-hunters, and museum aficionados. Voted #1 Best Haunted Destination in America in 2020, and Las Vegas’ Best Museum four years in a row. Tickets range from $48- $86, experience a guided tour through creepy hallways, secret passageways and over 30 themed-rooms that rival scenes from Hollywood horror films.
We are still awaiting actual times for trick-or-treating, but should hear about them early in October. Trick-or-treat is usually held on October 31st.
