Join the Springs Preserve and the Christmas Tree Recycling Committee in giving our community a gift: Recycle your Christmas tree. Each year from Dec. 26 to Jan. 15, you can take your cut Christmas trees to one of more than 30 convenient drop sites throughout the valley, to be recycled free of charge.
To find the Christmas tree recycling drop-off location nearest you, please enter your full address at the link.
If you are unable to deliver your tree to a drop site, a local company called Move It will do it for you for a fee. You can reserve your pick-up and drop-off at gomoveit.com.
Before dropping off your tree at any location, remove all non-organic objects, such as lights, wire, tinsel, ornaments and nails. Foreign objects can harm volunteers and chipping machines. Flocked trees cannot be recycled.
Some City of Henderson locations are open through January 19th.
Bring your fresh tree (no artificial or flocked trees) to one of the following locations for recycling.
Acacia Park, 50 Casa del Fuego St.
Anthem Hills Park, 2256 N. Reunion Dr.
Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, 298 Arroyo Grande Blvd.
Capriola Park, 2155 Via Firenze
Discovery Park, 2011 Paseo Verde Pkwy.

The recycled tree mulch is placed around City park trees to provide nutrients, limit weed growth and limit mechanical damage to trunks. We encourage you to use mulch under your trees too. Free mulch will be available at Pecos Legacy Park and Acacia Demonstration Gardens (Acacia Park). Please bring your own shovel and container.
