Ace Hardware is proud to continue their long-standing history of honoring veterans by supporting VFW Posts and local communities. This Memorial Day they are partnering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) again and pledging to give away 1 million free 8″ x 12″ American flags this Memorial Day weekend.
On Saturday, May 27th, stop into any participating Ace Hardware stores and receive one of their free American flags. A second flag will then be donated to a local VFW Post to be used mark the graves of those who once served.
Last year, Ace Hardware sent a total of 595,000 flags to 1,800 local VFW Posts across the country. The free American flags giveaway aligns with Ace Hardware’s long history of supporting veterans nationwide. Ace’s patriotism continues through the support of its veteran retailers, and the sincere appreciation for all the veterans and active-duty military who work in Ace stores, distribution centers, and its corporate offices.
Ace Hardware is an essential business, so stores are open nationwide. There is no purchase necessary, while supplies last.
