Welcome to Vegas Living on the Cheap. No, I’m not a local. The rumor is if you’re here 25 years or so, you may call yourself a local. I moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 2006 from NE Ohio. I grew up on a small farm, in a small town, and went to a small high school. I attended the local State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. I also received my license to practice Massage Therapy.
I had the opportunity to relocate to Las Vegas with a friend, and jumped at it. What better place to work as a massage therapist than the shiny Las Vegas strip. I did that for 8+ years and recently became a licensed Real Estate agent. I live in Henderson with my husband and two boys. I love sports, football and hockey especially, happy hour, comfort food, sleeping in past 7, and little smiles.
I also love the diversity that Vegas offers, but boy, can the costs add up. We still love to get out and have a good time, but these days we try not to break the bank. My goal is to track down as many deals as I can in my limited time constraints and share them with you. A busy life is a happy life. Please bear with me, as the city is large and I am just one person. I would love feedback and to have you share your favorite deals with me. Enjoy.
