There’s just something fascinating about kids and big trucks, and Touch-a-Truck gives them the ultimate experience.
It’s back! The exciting ‘TOUCH-A-TRUCK’ event, which will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will give kids a chance to give them a closer look. This year the event is once again being held at Downtown Summerlin.
Children of all ages can get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles and to personally meet Las Vegas’ everyday heroes. Parents and their kids can get a close-up experience with big rigs, fire trucks, police cars, construction trucks and more as they learn about what makes each vehicle so unique.
This year the organization is expecting more than 60 featured vehicles and more than 7,000 engine enthusiasts to attend. Children who are more sensitive to loud noises can participate during the horn-free time from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen!
All proceeds will benefit Family to Family Connection. Family to Family Connection serves families with children from birth to age five in classes and programs that include pre-kindergarten readiness, development activities, visits from community partners and monthly field trips. All classes are free but require advance registration.
Tickets to TOUCH-A-TRUCK can be purchased in advance for $8 per person at www.touchatruck.com, adults and children 2 and over. Tickets are also available for purchase at the door for $12 per person. Visit them on Facebook for more details as well.
