Here comes the virtual beer festival with a south of the border twist! Rock Star Beer Festivals is coming your way Saturday, May 1st in preparation for Cinco de Mayo. This beer and tequila festival is going virtual this year and coming to your living room. Enjoy a box of 8 craft beers and 2 tequilas, expect flavors and styles from south of the border along with 2 different 50ml Tequilas.
Stream the video where the breweries and distilleries guide you through their tastings and listen to music from Latin bands and solo artists.
Tickets are $50 here in Vegas and a $10 delivery fee will be added to each ticket. Packages can only be delivered to residents of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Nevada. It’s a fun way to connect, especially if you have friends or family in one of these states. Deliveries will be made 2-3 days in advance to ensure the package arrives before Saturday. You must be 21+ to accept the delivery.
The package contains 8 full 12oz cans of beers and some tequila. It is made for 1-2 people. Good for one person if you are a huge beer drinker. Maybe for two people, if you are a moderate beer drinker. Keep in mind that you may not love all of the beers, so you may not be drinking the entire box. Please chill your alcohol in the refrigerator once it arrives.
A video link will be emailed to you a day before the event. The video is shown live at 8pm to 10pm with online chat. After 10pm, the video can still be accessed anytime to watch at your own convenience.
A small group of friends and I did this last summer and it was really fun. We lost track of the breweries pretty quickly due to our Zoom conversation going on, but tried to keep up. It is a lot of drinks and they can vary from sweet to hoppy.
It was a lot of fun and something different to do then hanging out in a bar. And it’s always nice to try new beers before your buy a whole 6-pack and hate them. I would recommend it if you like drinking craft beers and trying new things.
