Are you music lovers missing your concerts yet? Here in Vegas there are so many concerts happening nightly on the Strip, you’re bound to be going through withdrawals. iHeartMedia is sending you a Living Room Concert for America.
iHeartMedia joins with Fox to bring some of your favorite artists together in the coronavirus relief effort. Elton John will host Fox Presents The iHeart Living Room Concert for America, an hourlong special set to air commercial-free from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, March 29. This special concert is set to air on Fox in the slot that had been set for the postponed iHeartRadio Music Awards. Please check your guide ahead of time for your Fox station, it may vary depending on service. Also, to extend the reach of the event and its charitable aspect, FOX will offer the event across all of its linear and digital platforms.
This at-home concert comes at a time when concerts and tours have been postponed by the COVID-19 outbreak. Many artists are performing concerts at home for fans to view. It will feature performances by such stars as Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Backstreet Boys, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and others! All of the performances are being filmed from their homes, using their own audio and video equipment. The special will also be simulcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide and its app.
The iHeart Living Room Concert for America also will also take time to pay tribute to the front-line health professionals, first responders and local heroes who are putting themselves in harm’s way to help their neighbors and fight the spread of the COVID-19. It will also encourage viewers to support Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation — two of the many charitable organizations helping victims and first responders during the pandemic.
So, missing your live music already? Tune in on March 29th for this amazing concert and spend a little of your free time enjoying some of your favorite artists. Here are a few more ways to enjoy the arts at home.
