Butterfly Habitat is back!
In this seasonal exhibit, wander through our unique Butterfly Habitat and witness the fascinating dance between free-flying butterflies, the plants that sustain them, and their important role as pollinators in the ecosystem. Weather permitting, it will be open for the spring season March 9-May 27, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (last tickets sold at 2:45 p.m.) The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and special event availability. Admission is $2 for value members, $3 for non-members. Bronze and above members receive free admission. All guests ages 2 and up must be ticketed.
Springs Preserve Canon Photography Workshop
Learn photography tips from top professionals! In partnership with Canon USA and B&C Camera, the Springs Preserve will host this photography workshop event. Saturday, March 16th, 9am-3:30pm. Free for members or with paid admission, no reservations required.
Personal tripods will be permitted on this day. Bring your camera to photograph all the color in the Preserve’s Botanical Garden and Trails, or borrow a camera! Canon cameras and lenses will be available for one-hour loans from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a current driver’s license and valid major credit card.

Spring Plant Sale
March 23rd & 24th, 8am-1pm. Choose from hundreds of desert-adapted plant varieties at our annual Spring Plant Sale! Ask experts your toughest plant-care questions, visit with exhibitors and more. Admission to the sale is free. Springs Preserve members receive a special 10 percent discount on plants, as well as early access at 7 a.m. on March 23.
Spring Break Camp
Spring Break Camp features hands-on projects and different themes each day, plus explorations in our Nature Exchange and museums; a visit to our immersive Butterfly Habitat; zoology encounters; hands-on learning with our naturalists and garden gurus; fun crafts, science activities and games. Please note: this camp is for kids ages 6-12 only. April 15th-19th, 9am-4pm. The cost is $200 per week for members, $225 for non-members. Extended care is available from 7am-9am and 4pm-6:30pm for an additional $50 fee. Reservations are required, fill up fast and are first-come, first-serve.
