Spring Break is just around the corner, what do you have planned for your kiddos?
The City of Las Vegas will offer several spring break opportunities for children, including kids camp, splash camp and musical theatre camp.
Spring Break Camps
Children in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible for a week of 2023 Spring Break Kids Camp, March 13-17, at the city’s six community centers.
Camp activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, music, life skills, physical fitness and fun, all supervised by trained staff. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Prices vary by location.

The six community centers and prices are as follows:
- Cimarron Rose Community Center, 5591 N. Cimarron Road, 702.229.1607; $125.
- Dula Community Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road, 702.229.6307. This adaptive recreation camp costs $100.
- East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave., 702.229.1515; $75.
- Mirabelli Community Center, 6200 Hargrove Ave., 702.229.6359; $150.
- Stupak Community Center, 251 W. Boston Ave., 702.229.2488; $75.
- Veterans Memorial Community Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive, 702-229-1100; $150.
Splash Spring Break Camp
Splash spring Break Camp will be offered for ages 6-11 at the Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, Monday-Friday, March 13-17, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
The cost is $150/child. Youth will improve their skills in swimming, diving, water safety, water polo and more. Youth should bring a swimming suit, towel, water, lunch, snacks and change of clothes daily. Advance registration is required and limited to 12 participants. Call 702.229-6309 for more information.
Rainbow Company Musical Theatre Camp
Registration also is open now for ages 10-18 for the Rainbow Company Spring Break Musical Theatre Camp. This camp will offer a dynamic musical theatre experience highlighting some of the most memorable moments captured from Broadway’s most prominent musicals.
This camp will run Monday-Friday, March 13-17, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St., plus a performance at 6 p.m. Friday, March 17. The cost is $220/youth for the full week and includes a camp-provided T-shirt to wear each day.
The program will culminate with a final performance presentation featuring students from the camp. The theatre camp offers students fresh skills from current and life-enhancing disciplines. No prior training or experience necessary. Sneakers or dance shoes required each day; no shoes with hard soles.
Participants should bring lunch, snacks and waters. Advance registration is required. Registration is open through March 11, or until full.
