Mark your calendar now to bring your family to a city of Las Vegas park near you for FREE pop-up fun all summer long.
The City of Las Vegas is offering Free monthly sports, games & fun activities for all ages & abilities. There will be arts, crafts, sports, field day games and fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities led by Parks and Recreation staff.
Look for the mobile city of Las Vegas Recreation Van and registration table at the days and times listed below for pop-up fun in a park near you. Times and locations vary by week, but continue Tuesday-Saturday through Aug. 6.
- Woofter Family Park, 1600 Rock Springs Drive – 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 15th
- Polly Gonzalez Memorial Park, 5425 Corbett St. – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16.
- Children’s Memorial Park, 6601 W. Gowan Road – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, June 17 and July 15.
- First Friday Foundation Farmers Market at First Street and Boulder Avenue – 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18; and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, July 2, July 16 and Aug. 6.
- Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, 9200 Tule Springs Road – 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays, June 21, July 5 and July 19.
- Police Memorial Park, 3250 Metro Academy Way – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays June 22 and July 27.
