Santa Claus isn’t the only one coming to town. The Rodeo Finals is just around the corner.
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is the season-ending championship event for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and is widely acknowledged to be the world’s premier rodeo. Held annually since 1959 – and since 1985, every December at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas – the Wrangler NFR is ProRodeo’s richest and most prestigious rodeo, and it showcases the very best cowboys, barrel racers and livestock in the world.
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo happens December 5-14th at Thomas & Mack. It’s more than just bull-riding. There’s barrel-racing, team roping, the Junior World Finals, and the Miss Rodeo Pageant. You can see the whole schedule of events here. There are multiple events daily as well as multiple event venues. Many of the events are Free and open to the public. And we don’t want to forget to mention Cowboy Christmas, also happening December 5-14th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Halls. There’s so much to enjoy at the Cowboy Christmas again this year! From great shopping to interactive displays, the Junior World Finals to Flint Rasmussen, there’s something for everyone. Free to the public, Cowboy Christmas will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.
Need some Holiday gifts for some Cowboys in your life? To add to the overall experience, RMEF’s Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo will be co-located upstairs again this year in the South Halls. With hundreds of vendors with the latest unique gifts for family and friends, plus your favorite cowboy stars making surprise appearances and signing autographs!

For a great Free concert– check out the Downtown Country Hoedown 2019. A FREE concert downtown Fremont St., Wednesday, December 4th from 4:30pm-11pm. You can see these six great artists performing on stages downtown. The 33rd Annual Downtown Hoedown lineup includes:

- 5:40 p.m. – Gabby Barrett (1st Street Stage)
- 6:35 p.m. – David Lee Murphy (3rd Street Stage)
