Ready, Set, Read! School is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean your love for reading can’t continue all summer long. Celebrate reading at this free book festival.
The Henderson Reads Book Festival is back on Water Street Plaza by popular demand on Saturday, April 29 from 10am-3pm.
In collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, NV Arts Council, and Henderson Libraries, this festival will highlight several distinguished and award-winning authors and illustrators designed to promote reading across all ages.
The event will feature live readings and discussions by authors of books for preschoolers through teenagers. In addition to English, Spanish-language books will be available.
Henderson Libraries, Vegas PBS, Spread the Word Nevada, and more will be on-site with interactive activities, information, resources, arts and crafts and more!
