Stuck inside all this time, craving some sweets and wanting to change up the kids activities? Freed’s Bakery has you covered!
In response to 2020’s health and safety measures taken in Las Vegas, Freed’s Bakery—the popular family-owned establishment of 60 years, expanded its offerings last year with fresh breads, two-layered cakes, decorating activity kits and discounted delivery with its Stay Home for Nevada menu.
Right now, they are offering fresh Hot Cross Buns as well as Passover favorites such as Rugelach, Tea Cookies and Macaroons. Or, give someone you love a little pick me up with their Cake in a Jar. They even have small Gluten-free and Keto-friendly menus to choose from.
For those looking for at-home activities, Freed’s Bakery has created cookie and cupcake decorating activity kits, complete with the choice of pastry, piped frosting, sprinkles and fondant design garnishes. Right now, they have Easter cookie and cupcake kits available, as well St. Patrick’s Day kits! Each kit comes with four buttery short dough cookies, icing and sprinkles for $16.95. Freed’s activity kits are available for both delivery and curbside pickup and are super cute. We may be ordering one of these each week!
A spin on its popular three-layer 7-inch round dessert cake, Freed’s has introduced a two-layer 7-inch round cake, created with smaller groups and minimal waste in mind for about $22. You can get slices of cake starting at $5.30, and fresh cupcakes for $2.95. They are still making cakes and will deliver so plan ahead for a spectacular Spring.
With three locations in the Las Vegas Valley, Freed’s Bakery and both Freed’s Dessert Shops are open and offer both curbside pickup and local delivery. The local bakery which was featured on Food Network’s hit show “Vegas Cakes,” has upped the ante when it comes to over the top cakes and can really do just about anything. Check out their Facebook page for pics and their latest creations.
It’s great to see a local favorite expand its offerings to put what customers need first. Freed’s baked goods are available at Freed’s Bakery located at 9815 S Eastern Ave., and both Freed’s Dessert Shops, located at 6475 N Decatur Blvd. and 10870 W. Charleston Ave., suite #110.
