The VGK Skating Academy is the place for all kids and adults to learn to ice skate like a pro. SoBe Ice Arena is offering a first time skater discount of 50% off their 8-week VGK Skating Academy skating sessions!
Using the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, which is recognized as the best in the industry, it’s designed to serve the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. Beginners of all ages will learn the fundamentals of proper skating technique in each level before advancing. The goal is to promote learning at many levels that is both challenging and rewarding for everyone. Figure skating and/or hockey skills are included in the program.
The Learn to Skate program consists of one 45 minute class per week, plus 8 public skate passes (good during your session), and special events for the academy throughout the season. 8 week sessions are $100, but first time skaters are getting a 50% discount. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays, please see the link for more details and to sign up. The next session begins January 7th.
SoBe Ice Arena is located at 2400 N. Rancho Dr. in North Las Vegas. In addition to their Learn to Skate program, they offer Learn to Play, private lessons, adult and youth hockey leagues and so much more!
