Need some art class substitutions while school is out? Your kids can Draw Everyday with illustrator JJK.
In an effort to connect students with art education and to help offer up a sense of schedule, author/illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka will be running free webcasts every weekday at 11am PST. He will host each 15 minute session at youtube.com/StudioJJK daily, so put it on your home school schedule.
Draw everyday webcasts will also be archived on YouTube for later viewing. He is initially planning for this to last three weeks but will continue to run them as long as is needed or he is able to.
Your kids may recognize him from picture books like Punk Farm, the Lunch Lady graphic novels, or a young adult graphic memoir Hey, Kiddo. These webcasts will be appropriate for all ages. Each day will be a little different, but should last around 15 minutes or so.
Set your reminder and give your creative kids a break in their day where they can have fun drawing something new. You can test your drawing skills and join in too!
