Punk Rock has been around for decades, influencing everything from art to fashion to other music genres to pop culture. Now this epic music force has a new place to call home at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas.
Opening its doors just over a year ago, the 12,000-square-foot Punk Rock Museum is a collaboration of the “Punk Collective,” a group of musicians and industry professionals that include Vinnie Fiorello, former drummer for American ska punk band Less Than Jake, and Fletcher Dragge, guitarist for Pennywise.
The Punk rock Museum invites lifelong fans and curious outsiders of all ages to experience a hands-on, uniquely punk rock experience. General admission tickets are $39 for general admission, guided tours start at $100.
Visitors can gaze at an original collection of concert fliers, handwritten lyrics, punk clothing and other artifacts from bands like Blondie and Devo. They have guitars and amps from Rise Against, NOFX, Pennywise, Sick of it All, Strung Out, and many more. Plus guitars that museum-goers can actually play.
Along with a shop where you’ll be able to pick up T-shirts, hoodies and other punk-related merchandise, it’s more than a museum. It’s a bar, a tattoo parlor, a wedding chapel, a punk shop, and even more.
You can book guided tours led by more than a dozen actual punk legends themselves. See the punk rock legends tour schedule and book your tickets here. Tickets for the guided tours will cost around $100.
Tours will typically run for 60-75 minutes and will be generally offered three times daily for most guided tours. Starting April 1st the hours will be noon-10pm and will be open 7 days a week.
