Polar Bears International continues with their Live Chats and programs into the fall! It includes live chats with scientists, webcasts, research involvement opportunities and more… kicking off with a live chat with scientists about Polar Bears Under the Northern Lights!
Throughout the remainder of the Summer, you can tune in and join them on an Arctic adventure—and bring your questions! To submit a question, use the chat window on the Tundra Connections viewing page or email them to us atquestions@pbears.org. The programs support national literacy standards & learning outcomes for elementary and secondary students — however, folks of all ages can enjoy the offerings below:

As the summer season comes to an end in the North it is time to begin to say farewell to the belugas of the Churchill River estuary. But as they begin to depart, where will they go? Learn more about the seasons and what they mean for belugas.
Check out the Tide Schedule here to watch and listen to whales. Weather pending, the beluga boat is out every day from July 15th through early September. Tune in to watch these majestic whales. Take snapshots and help scientists classify whales as part of the Beluga Bits community science project.
While PBI’s focus is on polar bears, they also work to inspire people to fall in love with the Arctic–and their Northern Lights Cam is part of that outreach. Anyone wishing to see the Northern Lights can check in daily and watch this beautiful phenomenon live!
