August 10th is a day for people to come together from across the world to pay tribute to the King of the Jungle in any way possible.
The Lion Habitat Ranch invites you to come celebrate World Lion Day this Saturday, from 10am to 2pm, (last admission is at 1:30pm). World Lion Day helps support and promote charities and foundations that raise awareness of the need for conservation efforts and solutions to the global dwindling wild lion population. Protecting and saving these majestic hunters is one of the missions of the Lion Habitat Ranch, which is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary.
Admission to the ranch is $25 for non-local admission or $20 for local adult admission. One adult admission also includes one child under 14 for free. Children 3 and under are always free.
They will have temporary tattoos, a kids scavenger hunt to learn more about lions, and a kids Lion costume contest as well. The winner wins a lion feeding experience to be redeemed that day. Please note, the winner must be present for judging at 1:00pm at the Giraffe area.
The Lion Habitat Ranch is located at 382 Bruner Ave, Henderson, NV 89044.
