As They Grow sales is the largest and longest-running baby and kids consignment sale in Nevada, since 2009. It is owned by three local moms and is typically offered four times a year in the Las Vegas area- two in the spring and two in the fall. If you’re looking to get rid of some old stuff, you can consign your gently used baby and kids stuff and make some extra money. I’ve been to many of these sales since having kids and I’ve also consigned items, and the process was very easy. You price your own items, and tag them, and drop them off for the sale.
Whatever you sell, they mail you a check for, whatever is not sold can either be picked up or donated. They offer clothes and shoes, baby and kids furniture, toys and gear, and other items your kids have outgrown. Some of the things carried at the sale: Newborn up to Junior clothing and shoes, designer and boutique brands, baby swings, high chairs, and bouncers, strollers and exersaucers, games, books and DVD’s, Indoor and Outdoor Play areas, furniture, bedding, decor, dancewear, sporting goods and so much more.
Admission to these sales is just $2 for adults, kids are free. This gets you unlimited entry the entire weekend and they usually give you free passes for friends also.
Early shopping provides the best selection and the best deals. There are a number of ways to shop early, before the public. Anyone volunteering to work shifts at the sale gets to shop up to 2 days ahead. Consignors get to shop a day early also. You can purchase tickets to a VIP presale for $20, and shop two days early.
That may seem steep but it can be worth it if you are wanting a big ticket item or certain brand of stroller or crib. Kids grow so fast, it’s worth stocking up on these deals when the sales come around. Clothing items often run just a few dollars each, which is a big improvement from what you will pay at retail stores.
