With so many watching everything on a small screen nowadays, fewer people are going to the movies to experience the big screen.
However, there is something magical about sitting in a darkened theatre, munching on buttery popcorn and watching a new journey unfold on the big screen.
When the lights go down, the film begins to flicker and the high-quality audio surrounds you, you’re transported to another world.
AMC Theatres, the nation’s largest movie theatre chain, has delivered movie memories for more than 100 years and they’re bringing a selection of Fan Faves back to the big screen — tickets starting at just $5. This is one the cheapest tickets the movie chain offers. Price varies by location.
The Fan Faves line-up changes regularly, but usually includes pop culture classics, family favorite flicks or recent hits brought back to the big screen for a limited engagement. Check here for the current selection of films. Not all films will be offered in our area.
The films screen throughout the day for a limited run. It’s one of the most economical ways to go to the movies with friends and family. Where could a family of four go the movies for $20?
Plus, AMC Theatres offers big discounts every Tuesday on tickets, including new releases.

What a contradiction.
$5 movies
“Price varies by location”
So that means not all AMC theater’s will honor that price or offer it in certain states like New York that never sees deals like these.
The food binging then starts at $9 for medium popcorn. Corn doesn’t cost $9 its the the theater sacrificing their expenses and putting it on to the customer.

Hi. Not meaning to contradict, price varies is a general statement as it’s impossible to know all location pricing. Here, in Vegas, the ticket price is $5, not all movies have available showings. That is the theater’s discretion, as is the price of popcorn, which has never been cheap or the actual price of popcorn. We also have a discount affiliate in NYC “on the cheap” if you are looking for deals in that area. Thanks!
